University North tennis team at the European Universities Games in Salerno

The University North men's tennis team competed at the 2026 European Universities Games, held from 25 July to 2 August in Salerno, Italy, and finished in 14th place.

The team recorded two wins and four defeats. It opened the tournament with a win over a university team from Cyprus (2:1), played Valencia and Bordeaux in the group, and in the placement matches beat the hosts, the University of Salerno (2:0).

Mateo Martinović, Borna Jagetić, Leon Gotić and Denis Adlašić played for University North, led by coach Hrvoje Šipuš. University North was among the participants with the fewest students, yet held its own against Europe's large universities.
